Rob Perdue Annual Golf Classic Set for August 9
The Rob Perdue Annual Golf Classic will be held Thursday, August 9, 2007, at the Golf Club of Indiana in Zionsville. Sponsored by the Indiana Soccer Foundation, this event is the primary revenue generator for the Soccer Start, TOPSoccer, and Kid Safe programs of Indiana Youth Soccer.
The golf tournament is named in honor of Rob Perdue, a life-long soccer fan and tireless volunteer who served as Director of seven Soccer Start/TOP Soccer Golf Tournaments. Each year, some of the event’s greatest supporters are those who make soccer possible at the grass-roots level on a daily basis.
Parents, coaches, managers and administrators are all welcome and encouraged to participate in this worthy and fun event. All proceeds go directly to the Soccer Start, TOPSoccer and Kid Safe programs, and the success of the Rob Purdue Golf Classic directly impacts the ability of these programs to function and provide community support.
The 2007 event will feature: lunch, a Shotgun Start Scramble, four hole-in-one contests, door prizes dinner, an auction, and individual and team awards.
2007 Prizes include:
- Grand Door Prize (must be present to win): $1,000 gift certificate to Hofmeister Jewelers
- 1st Place Teams: $150 certificates from Golf Club of Indiana Pro Shop
- 2nd Place Teams: $75 certificates from Golf Club of Indiana Pro Shop
The 2007 Rob Perdue Annual Golf Classic is currently registering golfers and offering sponsorship and donation opportunities including door prices, auction items, and tiered sponsor levels beginning at just $100.
Registration for golfers will be $125 per golfer and the deadline for registration is Friday, July 27. The registration fee includes greens fee, cart fee, and all events.
